he Oasis is a 141-unit apartment (140 legal units) community located in the city of Oakland Park, which is in Broward County, Florida. Oakland Park is a city of 8.6 square miles that is located in central Broward County and has a population of approximately 42,000 residents. It is three miles directly north of downtown Fort Lauderdale and 27 miles north of Miami.Built between 1970 and 1976, The Oasis consists of seven buildings on five individual parcels. All of the buildings are two-story walk-ups with exterior catwalks, except for one three-story building where the leasing office is located. All buildings are constructed of concrete block and stucco with flat, built-up concrete roofs. The buildings are situated in a park-like setting on a large 3.7-acre site, with the buildings surrounding lushly-landscaped grounds and two swimming pools. Most units enjoy pool or courtyard views and many have a private patio or balcony.
